Originally the laundry building of the Carmichael Estate’s 18th-century mansion house, the 2-bedroom Laundry Cottage in Lanark provides inviting self-catering accommodation. With a 4-star award from Visit Scotland, this pretty stone cottage has free Wi-Fi and on-site parking.

The master bedroom includes a queen-size bed, while the second has twin beds. There is a tiled bathroom with bath and shower.

A lounge and dining room has an open fireplace and a flat-screen TV. The fully fitted kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, electric cooker, fridge and freezer.
