The Connecticut River Valley Inn is a 4 season destination in the heart of Connecticut. From remote controlled air conditioning (artistically hidden behind art), and gas fireplaces to California king beds, balconies, LCD TV's, body spray showers, linens, towels – all chosen for ultimate comfort, this artistically renovated historic 1740's 5 bedroom B&B has much more than the average modern convenience.

While the outer structures have retained the beautiful integrity of the historic period Glastonbury is known for, the guest rooms are full of romantic (but completely updated!) aesthetic. Rooms are spacious, extremely comfortable, quiet and private. Enjoy the modern convenience of wireless internet in a place where otherwise you might feel transported to an earlier period in history.

Perfectly located on a beautifully landscaped 2 acre property, a three minute walk brings you to a beautiful river trail, three minutes in the opposite direction brings you to multiple high quality shops and restaurants - or just admire the view while swinging in the hammock.

The location of the inn is also close to downtown Hartford (10minutes) but far enough away to feel like you are in a quaint town in the countryside. And, indeed you are - Glastonbury, being the second largest town in the Connecticut in terms of geographic size, abounds in small family fruit, vegetable, dairy and livestock farms, back country roads and hiking, biking and boating opportunities, yet has all the contemporary amenities such as day spas , golf courses, shopping and theater.

Our proximity and easy access to and from all the major highways (Rt 84, Rt 91 and Rt 2) makes this property the ideal location to take day trips throughout the state as well and a destination for business meetings and retreats, family reunions, weddings or any special celebration.
